Context
The retail environment demands agile and precise inventory operations. With 65+ POS locations, effective parameter setting and order management are essential to ensure inventory distribution and sellable item coverage align with channel and boutique strategies. The role requires data-driven decision making, operational discipline, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize sales opportunities and client satisfaction
Job Mission:
Lead the weekly parameter setting and order management for 65+ POS, ensuring the inventory distribution and coverage of sellable items match both channel and boutique strategies.
Utilize a solid understanding of sales forecasting to review product parameters, push/pull orders, and optimize allocation across POS. Coordinate with POS and set up internal process & system for order feedback, DC pick & pack and delivery operations, and manage manual orders for campaigns, new openings, and special events. Analyze replenishment status to support inventory control and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Planning & Distribution
- Ensure the inventory distribution and coverage of sellable items are aligned with market and boutique strategies.
- Reinforce an inventory management mindset and apply sales forecasting to optimize stock levels and assortment.
Order Management & Execution
- Conduct weekly parameter reviews and push orders to POS, ensuring timely and accurate inventory replenishment.
- Collect and integrate POS feedback orders into the order system for further processing.
- Manage manual orders for monthly campaigns, new openings/renovations, out-of-stock (OOS) stock recovery, and special events/pop-ups as needed.
Operational Process Improvement
- Assist in designing, monitoring, and enhancing a systematic framework for holistic and ongoing reviews of operational processes across all boutiques.
- Conduct regular reviews of retail operations efficiency, ensuring sustainable and continuous improvement.
- Enhance existing operating procedures to maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and deliver weekly POS replenishment tracking reports for transparent inventory management.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Forecasting, Marketing, Logistics, Finance) to support business objectives and process enhancements.
- Active and timely communication with each POS managers to stabilize inventory management process and increase efficiency
Role Specifications:
- University graduate with 2–3 years of relevant work experience (preferably in retail operations or inventory management)
- Strong understanding of sales forecasting and its application to inventory planning
- Experience with POS system operations, order management, and replenishment tracking preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical, organized, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible and detail-oriented
