Material Movement and Production Support

• 
  Manage timely issuance and receipt of materials to/from production as per standard procedures.
• 
  Record all material movements accurately in ERP systems.
• 
  Alert production teams about materials nearing expiry or at risk.

Procurement and Vendor Coordination

• 
  Raise purchase requisitions timely and follow up with procurement teams and vendors for on-time delivery.
• 
  Process materials rejected due to quality issues and coordinate replacements with vendors.
• 
  Conduct quarterly key vendor audits and evaluate new vendors per company standards.
• 
  Coordinate with finance and procurement for timely payments and maintain weekly status reports.

Waste, Scrap, and Process Management

• 
  Manage daily process wastage, ensure proper segregation, recording, and disposal of scrap per policy.
• 
  Implement Lean and Kaizen initiatives to optimize processes and reduce non-value-adding activities.

Reporting, Compliance, and Miscellaneous Tasks

• 
  Prepare weekly stock reports, monthly audits, and production planning reports for management.
• 
  Participate in project-based teams and miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management.
• 
  Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, quality checks, and documentation requirements

Requirements

Education:

• 
  Diploma or Degree in Material Management, Supply Chain Management, or Procurement.

Experience:

• 
  Minimum 10 years in manufacturing, handling over 300 materials including raw materials and packaging materials.
• 
  Proven experience in a lead role managing a materials store or inbound store, overseeing material receipt, issuance, and stock control.
• 
  Strong experience in inventory management, procurement follow-ups, and vendor management.
• 
  Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP) and preparing reports.
• 
  Experience in audits, process improvement (Lean/Kaizen), and waste or scrap management.
• 
  Preferred industries: Food & Beverage, FMCG, or related manufacturing sectors where materials management and inbound store operations are critical.
