Mustang Cat is hiring a Yard Coordinator to support our Construction Machinery sales team by managing the organization, staging, and delivery readiness of new and used equipment and work tools. This role plays a key part in ensuring equipment is properly prepared, organized, and ready for customer delivery or demonstration.
What You’ll Do as a Yard Coordinator:

• Equipment & Work Tool Yard Management
◦ Log, tag, and reconcile daily received equipment and work tools
◦ Store equipment and work tools in designated yard locations
◦ Stage equipment and work tools for service and sales preparation
◦ Maintain an organized and safe yard at all times
• Prepare Equipment for Sale
◦ Install machine passcodes
◦ Install work tools on machines
◦ Complete Cat Inspect inspections after installation
◦ Ensure machines are ready for customer delivery
• Inventory Management
◦ Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory audits
◦ Track and maintain accurate equipment locations
• Sales Support
◦ Provide equipment photos to sales representatives
◦ Locate equipment for sales team
◦ Show equipment to customers as needed
• Equipment Delivery
◦ Deliver equipment and work tools to customers for demos and retail sales
◦ Deliver equipment to Mustang Cat stores for display
◦ Maintain delivery logs and required paperwork

The Yard Coordinator manages the flow and organization of work tools and equipment on the yard while ensuring efficient and safe operations. This role is responsible for staging equipment, installing work tools, assisting with inspections, supporting sales representatives, and delivering equipment for demos and retail sales.
What You’ll Need to Succeed as a Yard Coordinator:
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience
• Clean driving record
• Ability to drive a one-ton truck with gooseneck trailer
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Spanish speaking is a plus
• Heavy equipment or construction industry experience is a plus
Physical & Work Environment
• Work is primarily outdoors in a yard environment
• Regularly operate equipment and machinery
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Climb on and off equipment
• Stand and walk for extended periods
