Summary The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the inventory subledger. Position Responsibilities: - Conduct physical cycle counts of component parts and/or raw materials both inside and outside of the facility. - Communicate with production team members to be sure in-process material is accounted for correctly during cycle counts. - Reconcile discrepancies in cycle count results. - Research root causes of discrepancies and work with production team members to close any gaps in processes. - Maintain accurate inventory and job cost records in the ERP system. - Assist with inventory storage and organizational needs across the plant. - Assist with labeling of storage locations, component parts, and raw materials as needed. - Publish cycle count results regularly. - Assist with posting daily inventory transactions while meeting month end deadlines in doing so. - Investigate inventory variances stemming from errors related to receiving, picking, cycle counts, material issuing, etc. Correct errors as needed. - Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QualificationsRequired - Two years of cycle counting or related experience in a manufacturing environment. - .Must be organized, able to prioritize, set and keep deadlines, change direction quickly, and adapt to various work environments easily. - Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and ability to extract and analyze data from an ERP system. Emphasis on Microsoft Excel. - Capacity to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. - Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization. - Travel to/from outside warehouse facilities as needed. Preferred - Inventory experience in a customized manufacturing environment with multi-level Bills of Material
