Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.

Minimum Relevant Work Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in inventory control, inventory management, supply chain, logistics, audit, finance/control or a related area. FMCG experience is preferred, but relevant experience from other industries may be considered.

Nestlé Ghana Limited is currently looking for an Inventory Controller to execute inventory counting and reconciliation plans, maintain accurate and traceable stock records, and support the freshness and integrity of inventory across Tema operations. The role will work closely with warehouse, physical logistics, factory supply chain, production, engineering and third-party teams to strengthen stock control without disrupting operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts and full stock takes in line with approved schedules.

• Reconcile physical stock against SAP records, investigate variances and drive timely corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy.

• Monitor inventory freshness, traceability, FIFO/FEFO compliance, bad goods and picking accuracy.

• Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen stock management.

• Train and guide operatives and third-party staff on inventory counting, effective storekeeping and disciplined stock handling.

• Coordinate inventory controls across finished goods, raw materials, spare parts and relevant factory stocks.

• Support internal and external audits and, when required, stock destruction and regulatory processes.

• Prepare accurate inventory reports and collaborate with logistics, warehouse, supply chain, production, engineering and control teams to resolve stock issues.

What Makes You Successful?

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in inventory control, inventory management, supply chain, logistics, audit, finance/control or a related area.

• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse and distribution operations, material-handling best practices and inventory control systems.

• Proficiency in SAP or SAP WMS and strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

• Excellent analytical ability, numerical accuracy, attention to detail and audit orientation.

• Good planning, prioritization and reporting skills, with the ability to work to deadlines and make sound decisions under pressure.

• Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and drive accountability.

• Leadership capability to coordinate people, train operatives and inspire disciplined execution.

• Knowledge of quality, safety, health and environmental requirements, NCE or lean concepts is an advantage.

• Willingness to provide evening or weekend support when operationally required.
