Job Description

About the role:

The overall object of inventory management is to achieve satisfactory level of stakeholders while keeping inventory costs within reasonable bounds, having the right goods available in the right quantity in the right place at the right time. To maximize company cash flow as well.

Key objectives & responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Incorporate all inventory materials on-site (consumables and project excess materials).
  • Enhance / automate our existing inventory report (e.g.: creating unique codes and to add pricing.
  • Managing inventory materials.
  • Developing plans to ensure smooth product flow.
  • Performs weekly/ monthly analysis report of the inventory materials.
  • Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
  • Analysing and reviewing data to identify and resolve issues.
  • Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the manager.
  • Implement FEFO (First Expired, First Out) based on items with life span or expiry date.
  • Ensures min/max of consumables are properly monitored.
  • Generate report on dead stock/ expired items.

Required Skills / Experience / Attributes:

  • Graduate of any relevant course or degree
  • At least 5 years in experience in warehouse/supply chain or similar.
  • Effective communication skills written and spoken
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of inventory management.
