
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Inventory Controller mission is to ensure that Air Liquide Tunstall Site (SG & Methane) has the right amount of stock by maintaining accurate records,optimizing levels to meet demand and minimizing costs from overstocking or stockouts. This will be achieved by implementing efficient processes for receiving,storing & issuing goods,conducting regular audits and using data to forecast future needs and prevent discrepancies.The role may require working outdoors.
Key duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Ensure the accurate and timely, receipt and processing of all incoming deliveries.
Contribute to the efficient flow of materials into the storage locations.
Maintain accurate inventory records, minimizing discrepancies and stock variances.
Implement and optimize inventory control procedures to ensure efficient stock movement.
Proactively identify and address potential inventory shortages or overstocking issues.
Contribute to the development of inventory forecasting models.
Collaborate with warehouse, and sales teams to ensure efficient inventory flow.
Organizing and maintaining storage areas (cycle counting and inventory stock takes) to ensure efficient storage of materials.
Liaise with suppliers to resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure timely deliveries.
Manage inventory cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
Accountable for maintaining accurate inventory levels and minimizing supply shortages.
Accountable for the results of inventory audits and cycle counts.
Develop expertise in inventory management software and systems.
Gain a deep understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.

Are you a MATCH?
Demonstrated ability to analyze inventory data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Experience using inventory management software or systems for tracking and reporting.
Understanding of inventory control methods, including cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and demand forecasting.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
Ability to clearly communicate inventory information to interested parties.
