The Inventory Control Supervisor reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager and is responsible for the accurate receipt of all IP purchases, Fulfillment product & component receipts.In addition, the Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for the storage, issuance, and disposition of all inventory purchased, manufactured or supplied to the Fulfillment Department.Individual must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Encore and Nulogy computer program experience is helpful.Individual must be punctual, accurate, detail orientated and possess trouble shooting and multi-tasking capabilities.Individual must have previous supervisory experience.
The Job You Will Perform:
Maintains close relationship with customers, vendors and carriers with free exchange of information to facilitate and expedite orders.
Maintains close relationship with Fulfillment Production Personnel, Customer Service and Manufacturing Production Personnel to facilitate and expedite orders through the facility
Role model, understand and communicate effective safety behaviors.
Safety program participation, including 100% SWC participation and inspections.
Maintain Housekeeping standards in compliance with GMA Safe / Pac Secure.
Oversee inbound dock schedule to maintain efficient dock flow.
Accountable to manage and ensure all Receipts are entered accurately in Encore / Nulogy in a timely fashion including, but not limited to corrugated sheets, litho labels and purchased product by lot/batch and expiry as required.
Review all Fulfillment Production jobs on a daily basis and broadly communicate MRP status
Responsible for all product / component dispositions in the Inventory warehouse, including disposal or return.
Manage and report general warehouse inventory balances as needed to Customers and/or Customer Service
Supply Monthly Warehouse Inventory Reports to Accounting and Customers
Perform weekly & monthly Cycle Count of Warehouse Inventory to 99% accuracy
Identify discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Assures that all operations in his/her area are carried out in the most efficient manner consistent with customer quality requirements and IP SOPs
Carry out any other duties as requested by Management
The Skills You Will Bring:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3+ years of inventory control, warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment experience required.
Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
Experience utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory management software required.
Strong understanding of inventory control practices, cycle counting, and inventory reconciliation processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
