Inventory Control Supervisor-18208
The Inventory Control Supervisor, under the direction of the Site Manager, receives, stores, & issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise or tools, and compiles stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse or other storage facilities. Also, responsible for monitoring the entire logistics chain to ensure support of the program customer while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
What you will be responsible for:
Assist Supervisor in maintaining database elements including consignment part master table, interchangeability maintenance, pricing matrix, system security (where required), inventory and transactional integrity in the applicable database.
Review and resolve rejected or undeliverable material in a timely manner.
Identify and report to management any potential material sourcing problems.
Ensure accurate material status is relayed to customer and site representative in a timely and accurate manner.
Interface with appropriate personnel within the logistics chain to organize and expedite inventory shipments, transfers, purchase orders, and repair orders in support of depot level maintenance activities.
Maintain daily communications with on site representatives.
Make recommendations for process and procedure changes required to improve overall supply chain efficiency.
All other duties as assigned.
What you will need to be successful in this role:
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a minimum of three years’ related experience and/or training in a logistics environment.
Familiarity with Aircraft parts is preferred.
This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as a refugee or granted asylum).
