Johnson Brothers is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Control Specialist to support accurate inventory management and ensure efficient warehouse operations. This role is responsible for performing cycle counts, maintaining inventory systems, conducting audits, and ensuring products are properly replenished and organized throughout the warehouse.

What You’ll Do

  • Review inventory reports and order patterns to identify items requiring replenishment or recurring delivery.

  • Perform scheduled and requested cycle counts with a high level of accuracy.

  • Provide inventory updates and reporting to Warehouse Leadership.

  • Maintain and support the inventory management system; assist with system updates or enhancements as directed.

  • Conduct spot checks, partial counts, and ongoing audits of physical inventory.

  • Assist with periodic full physical inventory audits (at least annually).

  • Operate reach trucks and cherry pickers as needed to access and move product.

  • Replenish and organize inventory throughout the warehouse to ensure efficient product flow.

  • Perform other warehouse and inventory-related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with warehouse staff, Purchasing, and external vendors.

  • Basic understanding of inventory control processes and best practices.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

  • Ability to build professional working relationships with vendors and internal partners.

  • Comfort with basic math and data accuracy.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Experience with computerized inventory systems required.

  • Experience operating reach trucks or cherry pickers preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Ability to navigate the warehouse, including reaching items in high and low locations.

Pay: $22.00/hour
