Scope:
The Inventory Control Specialist is a functional role that includes material control tasks to ensure all inventory is accurately maintained and current storage and control strategies are appropriate. The role works collaboratively with key business partners to ensure timeliness of execution, replenishment, processing and / or other. Interacting with Purchasing, Planning, Distribution, Operations and Customer Care to identify and meet business requirements. The role also works closely with these business partners to identify best practices and address challenges timely and appropriately.
Required to replenish stock, complete external and internal receipts of goods, control Inventory accuracy, operate material handling equipment within a high-volume temperature-controlled warehouse, and complete cycle counting. To assure team continuity across all warehouse operations, this position may also be required to learn, perform, and or be certified to assist within other areas including distribution, logistics, or others as assigned.
Complete physical and electronic goods receipts as assigned.
Load and unload trucks using manual and electric equipment as required.
Triage returns for accuracy to ERP, physical and / or other.
Complete pre-approved disposition of returned material including ERP and physical per procedures.
Complete ERP transactions and delivery of any items identified as a field complaint per procedure.
Complete cycle counting activities including ERP entry of results per schedule.
Perform general physical and ERP goods movements as required.
Assist in troubleshooting issues as they arise including utilization of out of standard deviations as assigned.
Follow all provided control procedures and policies to complete tasks.
Maintain and engage in the promotion of a safe work environment.
As business needs dictate, work extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory overtime.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience and Education:
High School graduate or GED required.
Associate degree or Lean experience preferred.
2 years warehouse or distribution inventory (cycle count) experience required.
Previous forklift experience (counterbalance, swing mast, stock picker, or reach truck) required.
Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Ability to continually meet all ADA factors as detailed within this job description.
