Schedule: Monday-Friday. Hours may vary, but expect to be 10:00AM – 6:00PM.
Responsible for:
· Researching, analyzing, and resolving inventory discrepancies across warehouse operations and system transactions.
· Monitoring inventory accuracy through analysis of K&N’s Business Management System (BMS) and operational reporting data while identifying recurring inventory and transaction issues.
· Investigating root causes of inventory variances related to receiving, putaway, replenishment, production support, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory adjustments.
· Developing and maintaining inventory reports, KPI tracking, trend analysis, and operational metrics to support leadership decision-making.
· Performing transactional audits, supporting cycle count programs, physical inventories, reconciliation activities, and warehouse investigations as needed.
· Partnering with Operations leadership to implement corrective actions, process improvements, and inventory control best practices.
· Collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Purchasing, Quality, Customer Service, and other departments to resolve inventory-related issues and improve transaction accuracy.
· Creating and maintaining inventory tracking tools, required reports, documentation, and audit records.
· Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy, transaction integrity, and operational efficiency.
· Handling special projects and additional duties assigned by department leadership.
QualificationsQualificationsAny equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job will be considered.
· 2–5 years of Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
· Strong understanding of warehouse transaction flows and inventory movement processes.
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, formulas, filtering, and data analysis.
· Experience working with WMS and ERP systems required.
· Experience researching inventory discrepancies and performing root cause analysis.
· Ability to research inventory issues, identify trends, and communicate findings effectively.
· Experience creating reports, tracking metrics, and supporting operational decision-making preferred.
· Ability to achieve K&N forklift certification.
