Job Description

Has the authority to direct the employee’s daily work activities. Has authority to undertake or recommend the following employment actions: hiring, termination, corrective action, and performance reviews.

Decisions have major implications on the management and operation of an area within a department. The job may contribute to important strategy, operational, and business decisions that affect the department.

Problems are varied, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation. Problems are solved using knowledge and skills, general precedents, and practices.

Results are defined. Sets own goals and determine how to accomplish results with some guidelines. The supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.

Has frequent contact with others outside of workgroup, both inside and outside DAISO. Results have major implications on the management and operations of an area within a department.
