Job Description

  • Operate walkie, stand-up reach, stand-up counter-balanced, and stockpicker lift trucks safely.
  • Complete Daily Operator's Checklist for lift trucks used each shift.
  • Inspect for signs of pest activity, contamination, damage, or odors.
  • Maintain equipment and storage zones in clean order with general housekeeping, sweeping, and light scrubbing.
  • Accurately record all material movements via RF scanning and paper documentation.
  • Deliver materials to production lines and areas based on FIFO, age, and specific material requirements of specific product formulas.
  • Accurately count materials.
  • Maintain proper supply of materials to prevent downtime due to material outages.
  • Clean and inspect materials being returned from production before returning materials to storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and sanitation requirements are met.
  • All other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • General knowledge and use of basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to work weekends.
  • Ability to work in cold conditions.
  • Basic communications skills; bi-lingual skills preferred. 
  • Organized and detail oriented.
