Job Overview & Essential Functions

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for an Inventory Control Clerk. The Inventory Control Clerk maintains records of parts in inventory and on order. Provides data as required, to forecast estimates and schedules of parts in process and needs for future orders. May notify supervisor when stock reaches designated order point.

• Responsible for keeping continuously current inventory records of parts and parts on order.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory reaches order point or when ordered parts are past scheduled delivery date.
• Prepares routine inventory reports.
• Operates a terminal console and other related equipment in fulfilling assignment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Prefer clerical experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Most have good organizational skills.
• Experience dealing with the public in sales/service capacity.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Computer skills preferred.
