PUR POSE

This position is r esponsible for counting all the prod ucts in the w ar ehouse on a d aily b asis (manu ally or using a h andh eld s cann er), res ear ching and r econ ci ling d aily invento ry v ari an ces and recon ciling the d ail y, monthl y, and annu al invento ry to the War ehouse M an agement S ystem (WMS ) M aint ain and do cument invento ry of s alva ged, d ama ged, and less than case f rei ght. H andle qu ality controls issues upon receipt at the w ar ehouse or as shipp ed goods.

MINI MUM ELI GIBILITY RE QUIREMENTS

• Hi gh S chool Diploma or G ED (Asso ciat e’s d egr ee pr ef er red)
• T wo years of r ecent invento ry control, shippin g, or receiving exp eri en ce
• Must be a s elf -sta rter and possess excell ent cust omer s ervi ce skills
• Ability to pe rfo rm basic math ematic al ope rations (i. e addition, subtr action, multipli cation and division)
• Must h ave a strong att ention to det ail and be comfo rtable wo rking indep end ently
• Must be w ell or gani zed and able to communic ate ef fectiv ely with va rious d ep artm ents within the o rgani zation (Must be able to read, w rit e, and sp eak En glish flu entl y)
• Strong comput er skills (Pro fici ent with MS E xcel, Word, Outlook)
  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTI ONS

• Plan, coordin ate, and/or dir ect or ov ers ee invento ry control fun ctions ensuring a hi gh lev el of inv entory accur acy within the facility
• D ev elop and control inv entory pro cesses to m eet fin an cial and op er ation al r equir ements
• Dir ectly involv ed in r esolving issu es and cor rection of issu es imp acting custom ers s ervi ce, op er ations and fin an ce

• D ev elop and implem ent on going invento ry improv ement pro cesses and stand ard op er ating pro cedur es (SOP)
• Lead the accur ate and ef fici ent positioning of invento ry in picking loc ations and the r esolution of inv entory issu es
• R esolve qu ality control issu es in r egards to it ems in poor condition, d ama ge upon r eceipt, as w ell as, shipp ed goods
• Provide exception al custom er s ervi ce

• This position is hourl y, knowing it may include hou rs whi ch exceed ei ght hours in a d ay or forty hou rs in a week
