Your Role at KIK
As a Label Inventory Control Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing operations by maintaining accurate inventory and availability of production labels. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, storing, and distributing labels while partnering with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams to support production schedules and resolve inventory discrepancies. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will also maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety requirements. Success is measured by inventory accuracy, timely label availability, effective production support, and maintaining a well-organized, audit-ready inventory area.

This role is based on site at our Mars, PA facility with the hours of Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm plus overtime as needed. The pay range for this position is $23.00-$25.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for approximately 80 label SKUs through routine inventory transactions, cycle counts, and quarterly physical inventories
  • Receive, inspect, organize, store, and distribute production labels to ensure materials are available to support the production schedule and minimize manufacturing disruptions.
  • Monitor inventory levels for labels, glue, and tape, communicate reorder needs to the Supply Chain Planner, and proactively identify potential inventory shortages.
  • Coordinate label preparation for production lines using production schedules and product specification books while adapting to changing production priorities.
  • Maintain an organized, audit-ready label storage area, including restocking inventory, tracking labels on Quality Hold, and managing the disposal of obsolete or discontinued labels.
  • Prepare and coordinate outbound label shipments using carriers such as UPS and FedEx, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery.
  • Safely operates a forklift to transport pallets of labels and materials while following all equipment operating procedures and safety requirements.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and all safety, quality, and company policies while supporting inventory accuracy and operational excellence.

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of inventory control, warehouse, or materials management experience preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize changing workloads.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to frequently lift 20–40 pounds and safely climb stairs and ladders.
  • Previous sit-down forklift experience preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and cycle counting are preferred.
