Required Qualifications

• be at least 18 years old
• have one year of experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or equivalent supply chain experience
• must be able to obtain certification in pallet truck and forklift operations (on or before their start date in the position)
• be able to work nights
• be able to work weekends, holidays, and late nights, as needed
• have a willingness to stay until the job is complete (i.e., emergency support)
• have willingness to accept change, as well as be a positive change agent
• have a willingness to work weekends, holiday, and late nights, as needed
• be able to lift a minimum of 67 pounds (85 pounds in Boxed/Meat Dairy Warehouse)
• have strong interpersonal skills
• have ability to adapt to changing work loads

Preferred Qualifications

• current Orlando Distribution associate
• have an Associate’s degree in Business Information Technology, or related analytical field and
• have two years of working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or equivalent supply chain experience.

Mon - Fri: Start Time: 6:00am - 8:00am End Time: 2:30 pm - 4:30pm

Work Environment

Temperatures could range from 35 degrees to 55 degrees Fahrenheit for an extended period of time; also involves working in a wet environment

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.

Other Compensation Information

Night differential: A $.75 per hour night differential is paid to associates regularly scheduled to work any hours between midnight and 3:00 a.m. (this does not include shifts that end at midnight or begin at 3:00AM).

Weekend differential: A $2.00 per hour weekend differential is paid to associates for hours worked between 12:00 a.m. Saturday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
