Job
Summary:

The inventory clerk will be responsible
for verifying and investigating any matters arises, pertaining to stocks, so as
to provide management with the assurance of the existence of physical stocks
and integrity of the computer balance.

MAIN DUTIES:

Verify
and investigate the daily negative report each day

·
Perform
random spot checks

·
Verify
all stock counts

·
Ensure
all items with variances investigated and recounted to confirm the accuracy of
the count.

·
Ensure
all items are barcoded and placed in the proper location

·
Assist
in stock counts

·
Enter
stock information into the SPRUCE database

·
Keep
track of orders, returns, and supplies in the SRUCE system

·
Assist
at the delivery desk with the day-to-day operation when called upon.

·
Assist
sales clerks with labeling, pricing, and stocking of shelves and serving
customers.

·
Maintain
a high level of customer service at all times

·
Always
keep workstation clean

·
Carry
out any other duties necessary

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
AND SKILLS:

Education and/or Experience

·
Successful passes in at least 6 CXC
subjects including English, Accounts, and Mathematics.

·
Experience in retail and/or inventory sector is preferred

·
Excellent mathematical and
analytical skills.

·
Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills.

·
High degree of attention
to detail.

·
Strong customer service skills.
