How your role contributes to that mission:

We are looking for a Inventory Clerk in Jerome, ID. The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records of perishable and non-perishable food products, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, supporting efficient warehouse operations, and filling in for the production scheduler when needed. This role is critical for preventing stock shortages, minimizing waste, and ensuring timely distribution to meet customer and production needs

  • Update inventory management systems with accurate date on stock levels batch numbers, and storage locations.
  • Conduct regular cycle count audits and assist with physical inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
  • Monitor product rotation and enforce FIFO principles to reduce spoilage.
  • Ensure all partial loads are filled and shipped promptly.
  • Identify and report discrepancies between physical counts and system records promptly.
  • Prepare rework products in FIFO for production according to schedule.
  • Prepare blend/rework products in FIFO for conversation line according to schedule.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, production, production scheduler, and distribution teams to forecast inventory needs and manage demand.
  • Maintain aged inventory buckets.
  • Ensure all M2M's are complete and recorded in a timely fashion.
  • Report UG, AF, PS loads are ready to sell to CX and Sales teams.
  • Generate inventory and compliance records for management review.
  • Fill in for the Production Scheduler when absent.

The profile that shares this sense of contribution:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; coursework in logistics/warehousing or food safety preferred.
  • Previous experience in warehousing/Inventory control within a food or warehouse or similar environment.
