Perform cycle counts and correct inventory as needed
• Ensure system count matches physical on hands
• Look for missing product in storage location
• Resolve discrepancies at pallet and location level
• Research and document root cause of quality error reports (QEs)
• Assist with clearing shorts in WMS
• Work with customer to resolve store inventory claims
• Assist with consolidation efforts
• Identify and classify damaged product. Move to appropriate holding area once damage process is completed
• Seek out aging product and ensure it is ready for put away or locate missing product
• Assist receiving with Special Order Service (SOS) errors
• Ensure packaging types are not mixed and correct if found
• Inspect product for damage using a safety cutter, flashlight and tape
• Communicate with cross-shift clerks on inventory needs
• Use PIT Equipment to conduct indirect inventory work & other tasks as designated by management
• Work with customer on product recalls and write offs
• Audit inbound POs for accuracy
• Verify shorts, overages, and unexpected items. Document on receiving paperwork
• Ensure damaged product in holding area is moved to appropriate reverse lanes when ready
• Be on equipment up to 50% of shift
