The position as Inventory Assistant is responsible for supporting the Inventory and Asset Management Team in maintaining accurate inventory and asset records for assigned equipment and materials. The main focus of the role is day‑to‑day system updates, documentation verification, and coordination of asset lifecycle activities (repairs, scrapping, divestments, ownership updates, etc.). The position ensures data accuracy in ERP systems and supports smooth internal processes related to asset and inventory management.
Your Responsibilities
Updating inventory and asset data in ERP systems (e.g., IFS)
Supporting and handling inventory requests in our customer service portal Connect
Supporting Inventory Transaction Activities in IFS
Assisting in verifying documentation for scrapping, divestments, and other asset lifecycle activities
Supporting maintenance of trackers and documentation libraries
Preparing simple reports and summaries
Following up with internal stakeholders on open inventory‑ or asset‑related actions
Tracking pending approvals, confirmations, or documentation
All responsibilities are to be performed in compliance with company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
Reasonable ad‑hoc tasks as required by the business
Our Requirements
A formal education at bachelor level or equivalent within a relevant field
0–2 years of experience within inventory, supply chain, administration, or a related area
Excellent English language skills (min. B2) both written and spoken
Good communication skills
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Willingness to learn and follow established processes
