About the role

The Inventory and Order ManagementSupervisorwill lead a small team and serve as the primary point of contact forcustomer relationships,inventorymanagement andcontrol, order fulfillment, and warehouse organization. This role requires excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as hands-on experience inlogisticsand inventory systems.

This rolefocuses heavily on the software systems aspect of inventorymanagement andmay include manual handling from time to time to support in peak periods.

This is a high-visibility role, reporting to theVP of Procurement, with ownership of both strategic growth initiatives and day-to-day commercial execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:Supervise, train, and support warehouse technician(s), ensuring efficient daily operations and adherence to safety protocols.
  • CustomerRelationshipManagement & Revenue:Maintainrelationships withvendor managedinventory customers,identifyand leverage opportunities to increase revenue.
  • Inventory Control:Maintainaccuratecompany and customer ownedinventoryrecords &levels, oversee regular cycle counts, and implement best practices to minimize shrinkage or stock discrepancies.
  • Inventory ManagementCreateandmaintainrobust material master data. Work withS&B parts team toestablishtargetRNWBL-owned inventory.
  • Order Management:Coordinate incoming and outgoing orders, ensuringtimelyandaccurateprocessing, packaging, and shipping.
  • Process Improvement:Develop and refine workflows for receiving, storing, and dispatching materials tooptimizeproductivity and reduce errors.
  • Systems Management:Utilizeinventory management software to track stock levels,monitorreorder points, and generate reports.
  • Vendor & Internal Coordination:Collaborate with procurement, operations, and service teams to ensure materials are available for projects and customer needs.
  • Compliance & Safety:Ensure warehouse operations meet company standards, industry regulations, and environmental and workplace safety requirements.
  • Reporting:Prepare regular updates on inventory metrics, order accuracy, and team performance for management review.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management, order fulfillment, or warehouse operations; renewable energy or related industry experience is a plus.
  • Prior supervisory or teamleadexperience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, supply chainlogistics, and safety practices.
  • Proficiencywith inventory/order management systems (e.g., NetSuite, Fishbowl, or equivalent).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
