With offices in Congers, NY, and Bloomfield, CT we proudly and expertly service much of the public safety, commercial, and industrial users in our areas. As a team we are dedicated to protecting and enhancing the safety and vibrancy of the communities we serve.
As a Parts Advisor you will be responsible for providing parts and merchandise to customers, installers and technicians while providing exceptional customer service.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Answer telephone and greet customers & vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
· Take customer orders, clarify requests, identify parts needed, and offer alternative solutions if necessary.
· Complete sales by entering purchased items into sales/inventory system, obtain payment, add to credit account, and issue sales receipt.
· Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom.
· Interact with the Service Team to coordinate parts for repair and service.
· Offer in-house and customer tech support.
· Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
· Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.
· Pick parts, pack, and ship orders as required.
· Take inventory, maintain records of goods received, and keep perpetual inventory controls.
· Process parts warranties and returns as necessary.
· Support Bloomfield, CT office with ordering parts.
· Other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Ability to work business hours Monday – Friday. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
• Capability of climbing equipment or structures to access work areas.
