Job Description
COMPANY 🌱
RYZE was founded in 2019 by Andrée Werner and Rashad Hossain, out of a parents' basement, with a mission to change daily health, starting with the morning routine: a nutrient-dense mushroom coffee delivering clean energy, mental clarity, and immune support. Built on a Direct-to-Consumer foundation with a performance marketing engine, RYZE achieved hockey-stick growth and a community of over 1 million active subscribers.
DTC remains the foundation, but RYZE has expanded into mass retail, quickly becoming the #2 items in Target's overall coffee category and is now executing a multi-channel expansion, with a cross-category launch coming in early 2027. RYZE is uniquely positioned to redefine how people think about daily wellness.
We’re a lean, fast-moving, mission-driven team who believe daily rituals create the foundation for living your greatest life, and we’re just getting started!
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW:
We are adding an Inventory Analyst to our remote operations team to keep pace with growing transaction volume across our co-manufacturing partners and warehouse locations. This role works alongside our existing inventory team members, sharing the same core scope while taking ownership of additional locations and partners. The work is a mix of hands-on transaction execution in NetSuite and the analysis that sits on top of it: reconciling what our system says against what our co-manufacturers report, finding the root cause when the
two disagree, and keeping inventory data clean enough for accounting to close the month on it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO 🎯
Responsibilities will include
Partner Reporting & Reconciliation
- Reconcile inventory balances in NetSuite against third-party reporting from our co-manufacturers, ensuringdata consistency across all locations.
- Review co-manufacturer production and consumption reports for completeness and accuracy beforeposting.
- Work directly with co-manufacturer contacts to research and resolve discrepancies, short receipts, and unreported movements.
- Track inbound shipments through receipt, escalating delays, quantity variances, and damages.
- Investigate and document root causes of partner-level variances, and follow through on corrective actions.
Transaction Execution in NetSuite
- Execute and audit assembly builds for manufacturing, kitting, and finished goods.
- Process and validate inventory adjustments tied to production, kitting, rework, and corrections.
- Enter and verify item receipts, transfers, and returns for co-manufacturer and warehouse locations.
- Validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) used in production and kitting assemblies.
- Ensure transactions post accurately by SKU, quantity, location, and date, and align with physicalmovements and partner reporting.
Analysis, reporting & Month-End Close
- Build and maintain recurring inventory reports — on-hand positions, variance summaries, aging, and discrepancy logs.
- Identify discrepancies between expected and actual material usage, and quantify the impact.
- Perform data validation to surface posting errors, duplicate transactions, and missing entries.
- Analyze trends in recurring discrepancies and recommend process or system fixes.
- Assist with end-of-month inventory close and reconciliations across all locations and partners.
- Provide transaction-level support, documentation, and written variance explanations for accounting and audits.
- Maintain SOPs for the tasks you own, and other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
WHAT WE OFFER 🌟
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in inventory, supply chain, ecommerce operations, or transactional accounting
- Working experience in NetSuite — assembly builds, item receipts, transfers, inventory adjustments, and saved searches
- Experience reconciling internal inventory records against third-party reporting from co-manufacturers, contract manufacturers, or outsourced warehouse partners
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and comfort in large multi-thousand-row files
- Demonstrated accuracy with detailed numerical data, and the discipline to double-check your own work before it moves downstream
- Strong written English — you will document findings, escalate issues to partners, and explain variances in writing
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup, and to raise a flag early when something looks wrong
- Reliable internet connection and a computer suitable for full-time remote work.
PREFERRED (But not required)
- Experience in a DTC, ecommerce, CPG, or food and beverage environment.
- Exposure to co-packer or contract manufacturing relationships, BOM structures, and kitting operations.
- Experience participating in a month-end or year-end inventory close.
- Depth in NetSuite beyond day-to-day transactions — the Inventory and Manufacturing modules, multi-location inventory, work orders and assembly items, and building your own saved searches and reports
