Job Summary

The Inventory Analyst II leads and drives inventory accuracy, governance, and compliance across all AEPH sites, including Factory, 3PL, and Subcontractor operations. This role is responsible for managing cycle count programs, inventory audits, variance resolution, process improvements, and inventory control initiatives. As a key contributor to operational excellence, financial accuracy, audit readiness, and inventory risk mitigation, the position partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen and enhance inventory management processes.

This position will report to Manager, Inventory.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Governance, Cycle Count Management & Inventory Accuracy

  • Own overall inventory accuracy performance for assigned sites.
  • Ensure adherence to Global Cycle Count Policy and inventory control standards.
  • Analyze inventory trends, identify systemic issues, and develop sustainable corrective actions.
  • Drive inventory accuracy improvement initiatives and projects while monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Review and approve cycle count adjustments and variance investigations.
  • Lead root cause analysis of recurring discrepancies, inventory losses, and process failures.
  • Recommend and implement inventory control enhancements to improve operational performance.

Audit Compliance, Reporting & Controls Management

  • Ensure all inventory transactions, adjustments, and supporting documentation are compliant and audit-ready.
  • Perform trend and gap analyses to identify process weaknesses and control gaps.
  • Monitor compliance with inventory policies and escalate non-conformances as needed.
  • Lead audit preparation activities and inventory-related compliance reviews.
  • Drive the timely closure of audit findings and corrective actions.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead collaboration efforts among Warehouse, Production, Finance, Procurement, Planning, Quality, 3PL, and Subcontractor teams.
  • Facilitate inventory review meetings and drive the closure of inventory-related action items.
  • Lead inventory process improvement projects using Lean principles and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Influence stakeholders to drive inventory accuracy and process improvement initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional projects that impact inventory performance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or a related field.
  • With 4 to 7 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, cycle count management, inventory auditing, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/WMS systems (Oracle or SAP preferred).
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, cycle counting, and audit standards.
  • Experience with SOX compliance and audit environments is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), Word, PowerPoint, and dashboard development.
  • Strong project coordination, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and sound decision-making.
  • Effective at collaborating across functions and organizational levels.
  • Maintains high standards of integrity, compliance, and audit discipline.
  • Capable of influencing stakeholders and resolving complex inventory issues.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
