About the Role:

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Inventory Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and optimizing inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing carrying costs and obsolescence. This role partners closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Sales to support accurate forecasting, demand planning, and working capital management.

This position is for an open vacancy.

Estimated Compensation Range: $65,000–$75,000 annually (base salary + bonus). The estimated range reflects the budgeted compensation for this position. Final offers may vary based on factors such as skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job‑related considerations.

The successful applicant will:

  • Analyze inventory levels, turnover, excess, and obsolete inventory; recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and KPIs (turns, fill rate, aging, shrinkage).
  • Support demand forecasting and replenishment planning using historical data and trends.
  • Monitor purchase orders, lead times, and supplier performance.
  • Identify root causes of inventory variances and discrepancies; support cycle counts and audits tailored toward GP/Business Central.
  • Collaborate with Finance on inventory valuation, reserves, and month-end reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support ERP system data integrity related to inventory items, BOMs, and locations.
  • Support Director in other tasks as needed.

We are seeking a candidate with the following experience and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain analytics, or operations analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., GP, Business Central).
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights for cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with forecasting tools or BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau) nice to have but not necessary.
  • Knowledge of inventory accounting concepts (FIFO, weighted average, reserves).
  • Understanding of demand planning and supply chain best practices is preferred.
