Job Category: Supply ChainPosition Summary

The Inventory Accuracy Specialist works closely with the Production Controls Manager, Operations, and Logistics to maintain the integrity and accuracy of our inventory through regular cycle counts, audits, and data reconciliations in the Williamsport facility.

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities

• Perform formalized cycle count process and with the right number of counts completed in daily, weekly, and monthly cycles
• Initiate and follow approval process for inventory adjustments and scrap requests Analyze and complete timely reporting for cycle count and scrap request results
• Research to identify root cause of required adjustments
• Work cross-functionally to correct transactions and/or procedures
• Retrain functions based on results or findings from root cause analysis

QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities

• One to two years of cycle counting, and warehouse or inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes.

Educational & Certification

• An Associate’s degree is preferred.
• APICS certification a plus.

Software Skills

• Strong ERP/MRP systems experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel abilities
