
We are looking for an Intranet Content Strategist
As an Intranet Content Strategist, you will manage the SharePoint intranet site. You will oversee governance, content management, roadmap, implementation, daily operations, and support.
You will provide advice and work with teams across the organization. You will assess their needs. You will plan, create, publish, and update digital content that supports the Museum’s internal communications strategy.
You will plan and deliver training and information sessions. You will also support administrators and users.
You will create design standards, content guidelines, editorial calendars, and other tools. You will help build an integrated approach to intranet content. You will ensure all content meets the Accessible Canada Act, the Official Languages Act, and other applicable laws.

Strong planning, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in:
Working with a SharePoint-based content management system
Working with web content management systems
Planning and tracking project timelines and schedules
Coordinating work with external suppliers (web developers, designers, content creators)
Internal consultation and collaboration.
Knowledge of:
Managing, creating, and publishing digital content for an intranet, website, blog, app, or similar platform
The digital content lifecycle (strategy, planning, creation, maintenance, audit)
Project management practices for digital initiatives
Best practices in writing, editing, and designing user-centered content
WordPress Content Management System
Principles of usability, user experience, accessibility, diversity, equity, and inclusion
Data collection and analysis
Education: Post-secondary education in a relevant field (Communications, Multimedia and Design, Information Management, or Project Management), or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a creative environment
Compensation E6 $ 79,134to $ 97,933
Status: Temporary full-time (1 year) starting July 1, 2026 (#90363)
