Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician

Location: Hartford, Connecticut 06105 — On-site

Pay: $72.07 per hour

Shift: 07:30 - 16:00, 40 Hours per week. Weekends call only, every other weekend. ASRT certification required.

Note: Non-local candidates only. Candidate must reside at least 60 miles from the facility.

We are seeking a certified Interventional Radiology Technologist to support a high-volume IR program at a leading health system in Connecticut. The IR Tech will assist with vascular and non-vascular procedures, maintain imaging equipment, and provide on-call coverage every other weekend. ASRT certification is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist interventional radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy, ultrasound guidance, and angiography equipment
• Prepare and maintain sterile procedural environments
• Administer contrast media and monitor patient responses
• Maintain procedural documentation in compliance with department and regulatory standards
• Provide on-call coverage every other weekend

Requirements

• ARRT certification in Radiography required; ASRT certification required
• Active state licensure or eligibility in Connecticut
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of IR experience preferred
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility — local candidates will not be considered
