Job Description

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Primarily Day Shift, with some variance as per business needs
  • Evening, overnight, and weekend call and holiday rotation required

Manages and supervises specialty radiology procedures, ensuring quality and safety standards are met while maintaining a positive patient experience. Essential Functions:

  • Supervises and coordinates the daily operations of the radiology IR team.
  • Assigns tasks and delegates responsibilities to team members.
  • Monitors and evaluates the performance of team members. Monitors the quality of IR procedures and ensures that they meet the required standards.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care. Ensures compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
  • Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment, and orders as needed.
  • Ensures that the radiology equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
  • Trains new team members on IR procedures and safety protocols.


Education Requirement:

Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required.


Licensure Requirement:

  • Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required.
  • Valid “R” category Ohio Radiological License, required.


Certifications:

  • CPR certification, required.


Skills:

Excellent communication and organizational skills.


Experience:

  • Five years of clinical Radiology experience, required.
  • Three years of experience with Interventional or similar procedures, required.
  • Pediatric experience, preferred.
