EXCITING OPPORTUNITY
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for an Interventional Radiology Supervisor* who will supervise the work of technical and support staff in the Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Cardiac Diagnostics departments. Duties include the following: plan, assign and supervise the work of assigned staff, evaluate and perform employee work performance reviews, participate in the hiring of staff, prepare policy manuals and ensure that staff is informed of new policies and procedures. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining radiation safety within the department and supervising the quality control program for the Interventional Radiology department.

Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT


Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical and verification of employment history and education.

Shift Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four (24) hour facility; applicants must indicate their shift availability in the Supplemental Questionnaire of the application. Shift differentials are provided.

Sponsorship: San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.

Examples of duties

Candidate must meet all of the following criteria:

Certification
  • Must be certified by the State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist
  • CRT/Fluoroscopy issued by the State of California, Department of Public Health
  • Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association


Registration
  • Must possess and maintain registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).


Experience:
  • Two (2) years of experience as a lead worker directing, assigning and evaluating Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or Cardiac Diagnostic professionals and support staff.

Qualifications

The idea candidate will possess three (3) years of experience in Interventional Radiology in an acute care setting. A Bachelor's degree in a healthcare field is highly desirable.
