Job Title: Interventional Radiologist
Location: San Antonio, TX
Facility: VA Medical Center

We are hiring Board Certified Interventional Radiologists for a high-volume VA facility in San Antonio. This is an on-site role with consistent case flow, structured scheduling, and long-term contract stability.

Compensation

• $350 to $500 per hour
• All-inclusive rate covering travel, housing, and malpractice

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• On-call coverage required nights, weekends, and holidays
• 15-minute response time for call
• 60-minute on-site response for call-back

Responsibilities

• Perform full-spectrum interventional radiology procedures
• Provide consults and treatment planning
• Manage pre and post procedure care
• Document in VA electronic health record system
• Participate in quality assurance and peer review
• Collaborate with surgical and medical teams

Procedures Include

• Image-guided biopsies and drain placements
• Vascular access and angiographic interventions
• Embolization and thrombolysis
• Dialysis access procedures
• Oncology-related IR procedures

Requirements

• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
• Active unrestricted U.S. medical license
• DEA registration
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Eligible for VA credentialing and privileging
