Job Title: Consultant – Interventional Cardiology

Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

SHORT DESCRIPTION

A leading hospital in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist to join its expanding Cardiology Department.

Physical interviews will be conducted in Egypt, making this an excellent opportunity for qualified Egyptian consultants seeking a career move to Saudi Arabia.

The Consultant Interventional Cardiologist will provide expert care for patients with cardiovascular diseases, perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, and contribute to the development of high-quality cardiac services. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team and play a key role in delivering advanced cardiac care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform coronary angiography, PCI, and other interventional cardiology procedures.
• Manage acute cardiac emergencies and complex cardiac cases.
• Lead patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement, education, and clinical governance activities.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to junior medical staff.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Certification

• MBBCh/MBBS from a recognized medical school.
• Egyptian Board, MD, Fellowship, Arab Board, or equivalent recognized qualification in Cardiology.
• Subspecialty qualification and training in Interventional Cardiology
• Eligible for Consultant classification with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).

Experience

• Experience practicing as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist
• Strong background in coronary interventions and cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Experience in tertiary care hospitals is preferred.

Other Requirements

• Valid medical license in Egypt or country of practice.
• DataFlow eligibility.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
