Job Title: Consultant – Interventional Cardiology

SHORT DESCRIPTION

An excellent opportunity to join a leading hospital in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia as a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist

We are seeking highly qualified consultants currently based in Egypt who are interested in relocating to Saudi Arabia. Physical interviews will be conducted in Egypt

The Consultant Interventional Cardiologist will provide expert cardiovascular care, perform advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, and lead the management of complex cardiac cases. The role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver world-class patient care while contributing to clinical excellence, quality improvement, and medical education.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Diagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases.
• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization, coronary angiography, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).
• Manage complex coronary, emergency, and high-risk cardiac cases.
• Provide inpatient, outpatient, and emergency cardiac care.
• Lead multidisciplinary discussions and contribute to treatment planning.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians and cardiology trainees.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical audits, and research activities.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and SCFHS regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Medical degree (MBBCh/MBBS) from a recognized institution.
• MD, Egyptian Board, Fellowship, Arab Board, or equivalent recognized qualification in Cardiology.
• Fellowship or advanced subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology
• Eligible for Consultant classification with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• DataFlow verification required.

Professional Experience

• Experience practicing at the Consultant level in Interventional Cardiology.
• Extensive experience in coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).
• Experience managing complex and high-risk cardiovascular cases.
• Previous experience in a tertiary care or specialized cardiac center is preferred.
• Current medical license in Egypt or country of practice.

Language

• Proficiency in English is required.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.

References

• Strong professional references from Department Heads, Medical Directors, or Consultant colleagues.
• References should support the candidate's clinical expertise, procedural competency, leadership abilities, and suitability for a Consultant Interventional Cardiology position.
