As our Interventional Cardiologist, you will join a team dedicated to truly optimizing healthcare for the communities we serve in Durango, Colorado, and the surrounding Four Corners region. This position will provide exceptional cardiovascular care while contributing to the delivery of the highest quality and most cost-effective healthcare within our integrated delivery system. You will support organizational goals through clinical excellence, physician collaboration, exceptional patient experience, and community engagement. Through your work, you will help advance a sustainable, growing, and distinctive organization dedicated to improving the cardiovascular health of individuals and communities throughout Southwest Colorado.

Every day you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of cardiovascular conditions in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. You will perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), coronary angiography, vascular access procedures, and other advanced interventional cardiology procedures, while collaborating closely with primary care providers, hospitalists, emergency medicine physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing teams, and multidisciplinary specialists to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. You will play a vital role in the management of acute coronary syndromes, chronic ischemic heart disease, and other complex cardiovascular conditions while helping expand access to advanced cardiac services for patients throughout the Four Corners region.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Interventional Cardiologist who is committed to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care.

  • You will possess expertise in advanced catheter-based interventions, coronary physiology, and evidence-based cardiovascular medicine, along with strong communication abilities, outstanding clinical judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, referring providers, and multidisciplinary care teams.
  • You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement. Job Requirements

Required:

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine (MD or DO)
  • Current and unrestricted Physician License to practice in applicable state
  • Must have successfully completed a residency and / or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty
  • Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (''DEA'') registration
  • Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to hospital
  • Obtain medical staff privileges within the health system, at sponsoring institution
  • Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
