REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Interventional procedures: PCI, diagnostic catheterization; Right/Left heart catheterization; Echo/Stress interpretation; STEMI coverage; PCI for diagnostic cases.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Board: BC or BE in Interventional Cardiology

  • Licenses: Active OR license

  • DEA: Active DEA

  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS

  • Experience: Completion of Interventional Cardiology fellowship/residency

  • Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history; Self-Query NPDB report (dated within 30 days) required at presentation

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide Interventional Cardiology coverage including 24-hour call and STEMI call.

  • Perform interventional procedures: PCI, diagnostic catheterizations, right/left heart catheterizations.

  • Interpret echocardiograms and stress tests.

  • Round on own patients until sign-off.

  • Conduct clinic patient visits (14-16 patients/day) and inpatient consultations.
