Job Description

St. Marys Hospital in Kankakee, Illinois is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing cardiovascular team. This is a full-time opportunity offering a 50% inpatient / 50% outpatient split, with potential to grow into a leadership role within a respected, community-focused hospital. Work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art facility that supports innovation and quality care delivery.


Position Details & Qualifications:
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

  • Call: 1:3 shared rotation with three other cardiologists

  • Balanced inpatient and outpatient responsibilities

  • Mid-level APP support on staff

  • Cutting-edge cardiovascular technology and robust clinical support

  • Active Illinois medical license preferred (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology

  • Strong communication skills and dedication to patient-centered care

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is 500,000-625,000 The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
