More Than an Interventionist

This isn't a traditional interventionist position. You'll have the opportunity to make an impact in two important ways: supporting students' behavioral growth while providing targeted mathematics intervention. Working alongside teachers, administrators, and support staff, you'll help remove barriers to learning and celebrate student growth every step of the way.

You'll Thrive in This Role If You...

You Believe Every Student Can Succeed: You see potential in every learner and are committed to helping students overcome academic and behavioral challenges.

You Enjoy Building Relationships: You know meaningful growth begins with trust. You'll work closely with students, teachers, and families to create a positive path forward.

You Love Solving Instructional Challenges: Using assessment data, collaboration, and creativity, you'll design interventions that help students strengthen their mathematical understanding.

You Stay Calm and Positive: Whether coaching a student through a difficult moment or celebrating an academic breakthrough, you bring patience, consistency, and encouragement to every interaction.

You Value Collaboration: You'll partner with classroom teachers, specialists, counselors, and administrators to create coordinated supports that help students thrive.

You Celebrate Growth: Success isn't always measured by one test or one day. You recognize and celebrate the progress students make academically, socially, and behaviorally.

What Might a Week Look Like?

  • Provide targeted math intervention to help students build confidence and strengthen foundational skills.

  • Support students in developing positive behaviors that maximize learning opportunities.

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop intervention strategies and monitor student progress.

  • Analyze student data to identify needs and adjust supports.

  • Build meaningful relationships that encourage student success both inside and outside the classroom.

  • Celebrate growth with students, families, and colleagues.

Job Goal

To empower students to reach their full potential by providing targeted academic and behavioral interventions, collaborating with educators and families, and creating learning experiences that foster confidence, resilience, and long-term success.
