YOUR ROLE

You will join the CMA Ships Purchasing Department, which is responsible for procurement activities for vessels owned and operated by CMA CGM. The department is organized into three teams: Strategic Purchasing, Procurement and Logistics.

You will carry out your work-study program within the Strategic Purchasing team.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ?

Sourcing & Contracting

  • You will be responsible for managing a specific purchasing category
  • You will manage calls for tenders, from preparation to supplier selection
  • You will support the team in drafting and implementing contracts
  • You will ensure the follow-up of purchase orders and payments

Supplier Relationship Management & Purchasing Processes

  • You will contribute to auditing supplier pre-qualification and qualification processes
  • You will review and update purchasing procedures and, when necessary, contribute to drafting new ones
  • You will support the development of a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) tool, with a focus on sustainable procurement and compliance, in collaboration with the Purchasing Department
  • You will review, improve and formalize supplier management procedures once implemented

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR ?

  • You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in Purchasing, Procurement or a related field at a business school or university
  • You are fluent in English and comfortable communicating in a professional environment
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
  • A good theoretical understanding of purchasing and procurement principles would be appreciated.
  • You are resourceful, autonomous and proactive in your work
  • Curious by nature, you are eager to learn and take on new challenges
