For the Bright department we are looking for interns! The following internships / graduation assignments are available. Apply using the apply button and select the (graduation) internship you are interested in.
The internships on this page are:
1: Ergonomic and Maintainability Assessment of Biogas Upgrading and CO₂ Liquefaction Plants;
2: Upgrader Test Setup Pre-treatment Compact;
3: Chemical Performance Carbon Capture.
The intern will assess the ergonomic design, reachability, and maintainability of existing biogas upgrading and CO₂ liquefaction installations. Systems will be evaluated against relevant occupational health and safety standards (e.g., ARBO norms). Based on findings, the intern will develop improvement proposals and design recommendations to enhance serviceability, safety, and operational efficiency.
Review current Biogas upgrading and CO2 liquefaction plants based on reachability and maintainability and come with proposals of an improved design;
Test current service and maintenance procedures with respect to applicable standards (ARBO for example).

For the redesign of our Upgrader Compact we would like to have an easy way of testing the pre-treatment skid. For this we would like to have a small test panel been made that can be easily connected to this skid. You will be working in the E&I and Software department of Bright Renewables.
Analyze the new pre-treatment skid;
Design a test panel;
Get the test panel build;
Perform the actual test.

Bright has developed carbon capture technology, with or without integrated CO₂ liquefaction systems. As these systems are now either operational or in the start-up phase, this internship will focus on further development of those systems. The novel mixture that Bright uses, COOAB-FG, in the Carbon Capture system is always undergoing further refinement. This internship will focus on further developing the analytical in-house techniques and chemical experiments with (new) COOAB-FG mixtures.
Refining the in-house analytical procedures;
Devise standard measurement procedures;
Equilibrium experiments with COOAB-FG and CO2 (different P, T, %);
Kinetic experiments with COOAB-FG and CO2.
BSc / MSc in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Sustainable Energy;
Interested in sustainable energy technology;
Plan-minded and independent worker.
Working with technology pioneers of the energy transition;
Monthly fixed fee of € 500 based on 40 hours per week;
Lots of responsibility and room for own initiatives;
Professional support, guidance and insights;
International working environment only a 5-minute walk from Kennispark railway station in Enschede;
A dynamic, energetic, passionate young team;
Nice and sustainable welcome gift;
Flexibility in working from home / office.
Please apply using the apply button. General questions can be addressed to Bart Berteler, internship coördinator at internship@host.nl
