Ready to analyze markets, shape strategy, and influence decisions that can improve patients’ lives?

At Amgen, we’re driven by one mission: to serve patients. As one of the world’s leading biotechnology companies, we bring innovative therapies to people with serious diseases — and we do that by grounding every strategic decision in solid economic and analytical insights.

In the Netherlands, Amgen operates right where science, healthcare policy, and market access meet — a unique playground for students who want to understand how economic decisions influence which medicines reach patients and why.

And now, our Legacy & Biosimilars (L&B) Franchise Team is looking for a final-year student ready to take on a high‑impact, analytical, strategic assignment.

LIVE

This could be your everyday

Join a team working at the intersection of economics, strategy, and healthcare innovation, and take the lead on an assignment that genuinely matters:

Your Mission

Conduct a full market opportunity analysis to determine whether it makes strategic sense for Amgen to revitalize and re-invest in Aranesp within the nephrology market.

You will explore:

  • Market size & competitive landscape
  • Feasibility of re-entry
  • Financial impact & potential ROI
  • Pricing, reimbursement, and health-economic considerations
  • Strategic risks & opportunities

Your research and insights will directly support management decisions — a rare opportunity for a student to influence real business strategy. This is not just theoretical work: it’s your chance to connect economics, healthcare systems, and data analytics in a meaningful, purposeful environment.

Deliverables

Throughout your internship, you will produce:

  • A structured market and economic analysis
  • Data-driven insights using quantitative methods
  • A strategic assessment of whether to rebrand/promote/sell Aranesp again within nephrology
  • A recommendation report for L&B leadership supported by evidence and modeling

This is the type of assignment that becomes a standout piece in a graduation thesis or portfolio.
