Purpose

The Trial Capabilities (TC) Internship provides undergraduate or graduate students with the opportunity to gain practical experience in clinical research and development. Working alongside the GBSKL TC team, interns willassistin the preparation, maintenance, and closure of investigator sites, as well as ensuringinspectionreadiness at all times. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity toparticipatein a mini project as part of the GBSKL TC team's process improvement initiatives.The internship also promotes relationship buildingwithTC team members through participation in team building activities

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete all onboarding modulesand the relevant TC curriculumassignedby GBSKL HR and TC management

  • Assist TCS or TCA to perform clinical study or investigator site management activities

  • Undertake TC routine tasks including administrative tasks in supporting the TCoperation (e.g.upload and file study related documents into VC orSharePoints, perform data entry of clinical trial information into various clinical trial systems includingmaintainingsystems and local tracking tools, performance metrics reporting,etc)

  • Perform quality review(QC)on documents related to Trial Capabilities

  • Participate in process improvement projects for Trial Capabilities

•   Undertake micro projectsutilisingAI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) and Microsoft Power Platform to support process improvement and operational efficiency

  • Understand, comply, and reinforce local regulations and guidance, Lilly medicalpoliciesand procedures, and GCP

  • Participate in team building activities and other activitiesorganisedby the GBSKL teams.

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent preferably in a scientific or health related field

  • Able to commit toa full-time internship

  • Have aptitude in learning new skillsets and knowledge

  • Willing to learn andcomply withregulatory requirements and internal policies

  • Good interpersonal communication, organizationaland problem-solvingskills

  • Good written and verbal communication skills including good command of English

  • Good word processing skills and knowledge of MS Office applications

  • Demonstrated capability to use AI assistants (e.g., Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) in projects or daily work to improve productivity, analysis, and documentation

  • Good attention to detailand accuracy

  • Effective team player

  • Abletoestablishand maintain effective workingrelationshipswithco-workers, managers, and allpersonnelinLilly’sGBSKLorganization

  • Language Capabilities – English (read, write, conversation) and local language, as applicable

Desirable:

  • Applied knowledge of project management processes and skills

  • Appreciation of / experience in compliance-driven environment

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is an added advantage
