About the Role
ou will gain hands-on experience in the daily insurance operations. You also will be responsible for delivering standard reports on periodic basis as required by the business for operations, regulatory, statutory purpose.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Team
Development Support
Review manual testing processes to identify areas for automation or improvement and support the development and testing of basic automation concepts.
Document findings and present outcomes through simple process maps, recommendations, or a working prototype/demo.
Artificial intelligence (AI)
Support the AI Engineering team in building applications and agentic AI workflows aligned with user requirements and enterprise safety standards.
Assist in ensuring solutions are suitable for production through adherence to governance, policy, and best practices.
Infrastructure and Support
Analyze system performance data (uptime, incidents, and ticket volume) to identify trends, forecast demand, and provide insights for capacity planning and monitoring improvements.
Apply GenAI to develop and document prompt strategies for analysis, ensuring knowledge transfer to BAU for ongoing use.
Insurance Operations
Australia Quality Assurance Team - Knowledge Management Automation
Support MIS reporting and automation by converting manual processes into automated solutions, including building dashboards and datasets using Power BI, Power Query, and MS Fabric.
Assist in developing simple automations with Power Automate and support data preparation, validation, and documentation activities.
Innovation Office - AI & Digital Solutioning
Support the development and testing of AI proof‑of‑concepts and MVPs, including copilots, analytics use cases, and intelligent automation solutions using Microsoft technologies.
Assist in solution design, data exploration, documentation, and basic validation of models or logic to ensure effectiveness and usability.
Innovation Office – Automation
Assist in building and testing automation solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate, including basic integrations and participation in testing and feedback cycles.
Support process documentation, as‑is/to‑be mapping, and maintenance of automation logs, test cases, and supporting materials.
Innovation Office - Data Analytics & Insights
Support data preparation, validation, and analysis across multiple sources, including identifying trends and generating insights.
Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI and assist with ad‑hoc analysis to support business decision‑making.
Singapore Operations – Underwriting & Issuance
Support the operations through administrative, coordination activities, and tracking of case progress and turnaround time (TAT).
Assist in preparing basic operational reports and contribute to ad‑hoc initiatives, process improvements, and cross‑team coordination.
Singapore Operations – Customer Service / Life Claims / Healthcare
Support SG CS Claims Operations in automation initiatives by identifying opportunities, improving workflows, and assisting with testing and implementation of automation solutions.
Contribute to process improvement by documenting processes, analyzing operational gaps, and providing administrative and coordination support for CS FWA and continuous improvement activities.
Note: There are several internship positions available across various departments. Your role will be assigned based on your interests and suitability.
Job Requirement:
Preferably an undergraduate in the penultimate or final year of a Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Business IT, or related program
Must be proficient in both written and spoken English
Excel academically with minimum CGPA 3.00 or second class upper or equivalent
Minimum internship duration would be 12 weeks or above
Compulsory internship placements required by university
Willing to work in Cyberjaya/Putrajaya
