Your Role
We are looking for a student intern to support a Supply Chain Analytics project within our Orthopaedics Supply Chain organization. The focus will be on inventory management analytics and the development of an optimization approach for in‑field inventory.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze inventory data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
Support inventory management and stock optimization analyses
Develop and evaluate concepts for optimized infield inventory levels
Prepare data-driven insights, dashboards, and management-ready analyses
Collaborate closely with the Ortho Supply Chain team in Umkirch (local) and in Zug (EMEA)
Your Profile
Enrolled student (Bachelor or Master) in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Very good Excel skills; experience with data analytics tools and/or Power BI is a plus
Interest in supply chain optimization and data-driven decision-making
Structured, proactive, and able to work independently
Good English language skills (verbal and written)
