Schimenti Construction’s Intern Rotational Program is a full-time, ten-week immersive internship that offers students an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experiences in Field Operations, Project Management, Business Development, and Estimating. This is a highly selective program for undergraduate students majoring in Construction Management or Civil Engineering. We are proud to maintain a high conversion rate of interns to full-time permanent roles upon graduation.

Skills and Requirements

• Students must be enrolled in a Construction Management or Civil Engineering program with a strong record of academic performance
• Exhibit passion and drive for the construction industry
• Maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solve and act in a proactive manner when faced with challenges
• Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset and work collaboratively
• Able to work independently on assigned tasks and communicate effectively in written and verbal format
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Procore is preferred but not required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• All applicants must be geographically commutable to one of our office locations in either Manhattan or Rye Brook, NY (Westchester County). Schimenti does not provide intern housing or relocation support.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in New York City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Schimenti’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $18.00–$20.00 per hour.
