
Biostatistics and Data Sciences (BDS) is a global organization with more than 350 employees within the Human Pharma Business Unit. Working in close collaboration with other functions at Boehringer Ingelheim and external vendors we combine methodological and technical data science skills with business and scientific expertise to drive smart, timely and confident decision making across drug development, approval, and access. In this internship, you will contribute to holistic evidence generation in late‑stage clinical development by engaging in innovations in statistical methodology, applying these methods to concrete clinical use cases, or shaping end‑to‑end analytical solutions that enable fast, impactful, and informed decision‑making.

Depending on the focus of your internship, you will work with and implement state‑of‑the‑art and innovative approaches related to statistical methodology and their application in modern clinical development. This includes areas such as study design, data transformation, data analysis, visualization, and statistical programming.
