As an intern you will support the maxon's SpaceLab System Engineers in the technical development and project implementation of mechanism actuators including motors, gearboxes and associated components for space customers.

Internship SpaceLab 80 - 100%

Your area of responsibility

This full-time internship lasts at least six months and primarily involves working on manned and unmanned spacecraft projects. Your responsibilities will include

• Participation in product development and research topics
• Supporting document management (change control, approvals, etc)
• Assisting with manufacturing of breadboards, engineering, qualification & flight models
• Supporting testing of new motor developments
• Assisting with troubleshooting development problems
• Administrative support of project managers within projects

This job is exactly right for you if...

• you are interested in development engineering; basics in electrical and electronic as well as in mechanical engineering are required.
• have programming skills (Python preferred) and are eager to use AI.
• have experience with data manipulation
• comfortable working with structured processes, documentation, and quality compliance standards.
• have in-depth MS Office Knowledge.
• you can work independently and are a team player
• you are fluent in English; German is a plus.
