Are you interested in software quality, automation, and healthcare technology? At Barco, you'll contribute to the development of software that enables efficient access to Whole Slide Images (WSIs), the large digital images used in modern pathology workflows.
During this internship, you will help improve the automated testing and validation framework of a software library used to read and process digital pathology images. Your work will focus on designing and implementing automated tests to validate image access, metadata extraction, format compatibility, and software performance across a wide range of image datasets.
You will also contribute to the development of testing infrastructure, benchmarking tools, and reporting mechanisms that help ensure the long-term reliability and quality of the software used in visualization, AI, and image analysis applications.
Experience with automated testing frameworks, CI/CD workflows, performance benchmarking, image processing, or scientific computing is a plus.
