About Horse Technologies

Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero.

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Titu / Bucharest , with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What we’re looking for

• Experience with Matlab scripting and UI development

• Experience with Simulink is considered an advantage

• Office tools

• Fluent in English

What will you do

This internship is a valuable opportunity to gain experience and insight in model-based software development and software architecture, and to build a solid foundation for a future career.

Responsibilities

- Develop a frontend solution for our Rapid Prototyping tool

- Develop the backend code

- Debug, document and create comprehensive user guides Opportunities

- Hands-on experience with Matlab application development

- Mentorship from experienced automotive software engineers

- Insight into our engineering process

- A potential opportunity for a future full-time role Qualifications

Location: Titu/Bucharest

Duration: 5 months Start Date: Summer 2026
